Raalhu Bar
This is the favorite spot of experienced surfers where they take a break after a great day in the sea. It provides the best views of the unbelievable Pasta Point’s giant left-handed waves and the surfers riding them back to shore. The relaxed vibe and the finger food make it a perfect place for surfers to hang out together.
So, when you’re not surfing, watch dolphins dive in and out of the beautiful waters, play a game of pool or jive to some music until it’s time to hit the waves again the next morning.
Raiyvilla

Surfing
This 4 star resort attracts surfers like a magnet due it’s close proximity to a world-class surf. Magnificent, consistent waves with sustainable surfing policies combine to make surfing at Pasta Point one of the most sought-after surfing locations by well renowned surfers from around the world. In fact this location is deep rooted in the history of surfing as the father of Maldivian surfing himself pioneered the very first surfing camp called Tari village that eventually became what you now know as Dhonveli Beach.
Pasta Point is a long, high-performance, occasionally barreling lefthander wrapping around a coral reef directly in front of the resort bar. This wave winds along the reef for 150 yards and works on all tides. Additionally, a short five-minute boat ride across the channel, the island of Thaburundhoo is a scene out of tropical surf dreams: small, uninhabited and with a left wrapping around one end and a right around the other. To the right is Sultans and the left is Honky’s.
Located on the other side of Thanburudhoo is Jailbreaks, a fast 200 meter + barreling world class right which breaks along a coral reef in front of a maximum-security prison. All the breaks work through a full tide cycle from high to low but are generally best at mid tide and most user friendly at high tide.
